What the heck is a "Shid"?
In the World of Shids we use the language called “smol”. This is the language of the Wassis people. Shids (“Shid” = smol meaning “dog shit”) are a breed of Wassie. Wassies are very diverse now and are a subculture with many different great artists and projects! Just like 7777 Shids as well as Wassies by Wassies, Bitcoin Wassies and Ordinuhl Wassie Biznezz.
The Wassie, a beloved fictional character among cryptocurrency traders, generally appears as a pepe-like frog wearing a red baseball cap. He is extremely destructible and violently dies every two weeks before rising like a phoenix with the memory of his predecessor still intact. It is said that an endless supply of wassies is maintained on ice and defrosted in a microwave when the current one is finished. They are also cute, funny, lonely, idiotic little things (“shit” = “shid”). They are both loved and hated. Wassies is always doing stupid things, like getting stuck in a cup, or falling into the dishwasher, or getting eaten by a cat or a hawk. They are bad cryptocurrency traders and always get liquidated. We typically sacrifice Wassies to influence the price of Bitcoin, for example, to defend a key support level on the chart. “Oh no, BTC price is falling below $36,000, time to throw Wassie into the fire.”So why are so many of the smartest crypto Twitter traders wearing Wassies? Because Wassies are the core of the OG cryptocurrency, cute and funny. The “Smol” language is difficult to understand even for native English speakers. It’s really hard to translate, you’re right, it’s a bit like “leet-speak”. But this is even stupider. You deliberately misspelled things, randomly reversed letters, and sounded like a stupid little asshole. When you pronounce it, maybe you can still understand it. But it’s true that it’s hard for everyone to understand. There are also many abbreviations, such as “lmwo” (Laughing My Wassie Off) instead of “lmao” (Laughing My Ass Off).
Sometime in early 2017, The Wassie initially appeared on Crypto Twitter. The discovery of a work of art by the Japanese artist Tsukino Wagamo (tukinowagamo [NSFW]) is attributed to Twitter user Maru (wasserpest), whose handle wasserpest translates to “waterweed” in German, who gave the work the name “wassie.”
Anyway, I hope this helps explain it a bit so you get to know and fall in love with them!
Edit: According to our community member @HunterBidenPlug on Telegram, inversebrah on twitter was the first wassie; thus the first shid. a trader named Stardust made his fortune and started the inversebrah account – and would rotate shifts every 14 days with other wealthy bitcoiners. From this the lore was born that every 14 days the wassie dies and is reborn. The shid is so innocent he doesnt remember the dangers of the world but he is a hard worker which is why he wears his McDonalds uniform.
